Yogurt Yumm!

So I've been snacking on yogurt lately and found new ways to make it. So I'm sure most of you just go to the store and buy the strawberry flavor or some premade flavor but you should try making your own. Buy some plain yogurt and just add your own fruit to it, this way you can have the flavors you like. Fresh fruit taste amazing in plain yogurt but frozen fruit sometimes add a little kick to it. When I'm in a rush I'll make a smoothie from the yogurt, just a cup of yogurt, some fruits and orange juice, which is great for breakfast. Only one cup of it packs a third of your daily calcium and 12-14 grams of filling protein, along with healhty probiotic bacteria which can aid digestion and even strengthen the immune system. So go ahead and try it.. you'll feel stronger by the day!

I'm pleasantly surprised to find someone who eats the way I do. I really agree with the food suggestions you have made concerning breakfast. I grew up eating healthy and still love doing it. I think that it's important that people eat healthy to live a better life. There are so many people in America, that don't know what being healthy means, nor do they care.

Good morning, Ni. I agree with you... smoothies are a great, healthy way to get your day started. In your blogs you talk a lot about getting the right amount of protein in your meals. An easy way to add protein to smoothies is by adding 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. That's right... peanut butter. One of my favorite smoothies consists of raspberries, vanilla yogurt, peanut butter, one scoop of fat-free chocolate ice cream, one banana, and a few ice cubes. Blend to frappe. Mmm... delicious. Try it!
